What We're Looking For:

As a Test Engineer on our team in Chihuahua, you will play a key role in delivering the quality and reliability that defines Zebra's products. You will analyze, design, and maintain test tools and processes to validate product and system performance. Working within a multi-disciplinary team, you will help resolve issues detected during testing and contribute directly to the success of our engineering projects, ensuring our solutions meet the highest standards.

Chihuahua - based role- onsite presence required to support manufacturing activitites.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test plans for moderately complex test design projects from start to finish.
  • Analyze test results, recommend solutions to technical problems, and develop expected outcomes for retesting on a variety of products.
  • Use diagnostic programs to perform tests, analyze results, and resolve issues detected through testing.
  • Develop clear and concise documentation for new testing projects.
  • Contribute to the review of changes or upgrades to existing tests, tools, and testing protocols.
  • Apply your judgment in selecting the appropriate methods and techniques to obtain effective solutions.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electromechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Software, or a related field).
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a test or quality engineering role.
  • Proficiency in programming with Python for scripting or test development.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
  • Experience analyzing and recommending solutions for technical challenges.

Preferred:

  • Hands-on experience or exposure to testing electromechanical systems.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or R&D environment.
  • Familiarity with test automation tools and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
