At PPRO, we simplify access to local payments - providing a local payments platform that empowers giants like PayPal, Stripe, and Microsoft to connect with billions of consumers worldwide. We are on an ambitious, fast-paced mission to 3x our growth by 2028 - and we’re just getting started.
Our magic lies in our team of proud payments nerds. Spanning over 50 nationalities across 10+ global locations, our diverse cultures aren't a checklist; they are the competitive advantage driving our innovation. This is a people-first, high trust environment where you’ll have the autonomy to make a massive impact, own your work end-to-end, and grow through broad exposure, meaningful challenges, and continuous learning. We get things done, challenge respectfully, put the customer first, and recognise that our biggest successes are those we create as a team. If you’re ready to leave your footprint on global commerce, join us.
The Purpose:
We are looking for an Account Executive who will blend hands-on account management with sharp analysis, surfacing the upsell and cross-sell opportunities that keep our biggest partners growing with us, while gaining broad exposure to how a global payments business operates end-to-end. This is a crucial role to the department and wider business, as you will be a key support in ensuring the department benefits from data driven decision making.
Your impact in this role:
-
Support senior Account Managers on five strategic accounts, including PayPal, Stripe, McAfee, HiPay, and JP Morgan, getting hands-on exposure to how we manage our biggest, most complex partnerships
-
Take direct ownership of two tier 4 accounts, managing the day-to-day relationship and acting as the first point of contact
-
Run business review data pulls, making sure the numbers behind every account conversation are accurate, timely, and ready to use
-
Dig into data on existing accounts to uncover upsell and cross-sell opportunities the sales team might otherwise miss
-
Turn that analysis into high-quality insights the sales team can act on straight away, not just numbers on a page
-
Build compelling visuals, from charts and graphs to full presentations, that bring insights to life for clients and make the story easy to follow
-
Work alongside the sales team to shape strategies that capitalise on the opportunities you've identified
-
Keep an eye on market and competitor trends, and flag the ones that matter to the right internal stakeholders before they become a surprise
-
Pitch in on day-to-day activities as needed, from legal tickets to annual leave cover, because we all work as a team!
Additional Responsibilities:
-
Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and preferences.
-
Assist in the preparation of sales presentations and proposals.
-
Contribute to ongoing projects and initiatives within the commercial organization
What you'll need to have:
-
Experience in a commercial, analytical, or account management role — ideally within Payments, or a Fintech
-
A sharp eye for data: you're comfortable pulling numbers together, spotting patterns, and turning them into insights that actually change decisions
-
Confidence building clear, compelling visuals in tools like Excel, PowerPoint, or similar
-
Strong communication skills: you can translate detailed analysis into something a busy senior stakeholder can act on in two minutes
-
A proactive, ownership mindset: you spot the upsell opportunity before someone asks you to look for it
-
Great organisational skills: you can support multiple strategic accounts at once without dropping the ball
-
Curiosity about the payments industry (or a genuine appetite to become a payments nerd fast)
-
Comfort working across teams: sales, legal, and account management all lean on you, and you make that easy
