**Overview** We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and manage various technology projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management methodologies and a deep understanding of IT infrastructure and software development processes, with the automotive engineering background being highly preferred. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure successful project delivery.
**Responsibilities**
* Lead the planning and implementation of IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives. * Utilize project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and SAFe to manage project lifecycles effectively. * Oversee requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation to ensure clear project scopes. * Develop detailed project schedules using tools like Microsoft Project, TFS, or Jira, ensuring timely delivery of milestones. * Coordinate with cross\-functional teams to facilitate user acceptance testing and ensure quality deliverables. * Manage project risks and issues proactively while implementing disaster recovery plans as needed. * Foster effective communication among stakeholders through regular updates and meetings. * Utilize cloud computing technologies such as AWS to enhance project outcomes. * Ensure adherence to IT governance standards and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
**Experience**
* Proven experience in project management with a solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) principles. * Familiarity with databases such as SQL and Oracle for data management within projects. * Proficient in using project management software including VersionOne, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), Visio, and SharePoint, and familiarity with Jira, Confluence is added advantage. * Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather requirements effectively and translate them into actionable plans. * Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in program management and release management. * Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast\-paced environment. * Strong negotiation skills to manage stakeholder expectations effectively while maintaining project integrity.
