I'm hiring a Senior Infrastructure & Security Engineer for a fast-growing technology company building AI-powered business solutions and enterprise applications.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys getting hands-on with cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and building systems from the ground up.
What Makes This Role Interesting?
- AWS + Physical Data Centre: Work across AWS cloud services and a newly established 3,000+ sq. ft. data centre in Kuala Lumpur.
- Own Security & Compliance: Lead ISO 27001 implementation and certification, strengthen security controls, and drive cybersecurity governance.
- AI-Driven Environment: Support enterprise CRM/ERP applications, AI/LLM tools, and next-generation business solutions.
- First Engineer Opportunity: Take direct ownership of infrastructure setup, security decisions, vendor management, and operational improvements.
- Work Directly with the CEO/Founder: Enjoy a high-impact role in an agile, product-driven, Mandarin-speaking environment.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud, DevOps, Infrastructure, or Security Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM)
- Proven experience leading ISO 27001 implementation and certification
- Solid knowledge of Linux/Ubuntu, Docker, CI/CD, Bash scripting, and system hardening
- Experience with IAM, vulnerability management, security monitoring, incident response, and disaster recovery
- Mandarin communication skills are required
Bonus points for experience in physical data centre operations, Terraform, Kubernetes, hardware deployment, or relevant cloud and security certifications.
