3. Technical Sales and Product Support

  • Provide clear, accurate product introductions, demonstrations and technical presentations.

  • Work closely with technical colleagues and the factory to clarify product suitability and respond to customer requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Hytronik’s products, lighting control applications and relevant market developments.
  • Share customer feedback and market insights with internal teams to support product development and improvements.
  • Review customer drawings and specifications using Bluebeam Revu to identify lighting control requirements, prepare clear annotations and support accurate product selection and quotations, referring technical uncertainties to the relevant team.

4. Sales Planning Reporting and Coordination

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, sales activities and opportunities in the CRM system.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts and updates on progress against targets.
  • Plan customer visits and business travel, obtaining approval in line with company procedures.
  • Prepare customer visit reports, recording key discussions, opportunities and agreed follow-up actions.
  • Work closely with colleagues across sales, technical support, customer service, finance and logistics to progress customer opportunities and orders.
  • Travel internationally as required to support customer relationships and business development.

Skills and Experience

  • A full, valid driving licence is essential.
  • Proven experience in a Sales Manager, Technical Sales Manager or similar role.
  • A demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business.
  • A relevant academic background, preferably in Engineering, Electronics, Automation, Building Services, Business or Marketing.
  • Strong technical understanding and the ability to explain complex products and solutions clearly.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; additional language skills would be an advantage.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.

  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
  • Experience in lighting controls or sensors is highly desirable.

  • 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holiday.
  • Company sick pay.
  • Remote working.
  • On-site parking when attending the office.
  • A varied role combining business development, customer relationships and technical sales.
  • The opportunity to work within a close-knit team and contribute to the growth of Hytronik’s business.

If you enjoy developing business, building customer relationships and helping customers find suitable technical solutions, we would love to hear from you.
