What You’ll Do
- Lead Operations: Supervise daily logistics activities, including cargo handling, dispatch, deliveries, and coordination with internal teams.
- Drive Performance: Monitor operational KPIs, productivity, service quality, and turnaround time to ensure targets are achieved.
- Develop People: Guide, coach, and motivate team members while promoting accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure Safety and Compliance: Implement company policies, operational standards, and cargo-handling and safety procedures.
- Solve Problems: Address operational concerns, resolve service issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize delays and errors.
- Coordinate Effectively: Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
- Improve Processes: Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, optimize resources, and improve overall operational performance.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage.
- Relevant experience in logistics, freight, cargo handling, transportation, or warehouse operations.
- Supervisory experience with the ability to lead, coach, and manage a team.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to monitor operational reports, KPIs, and performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced operational environment and respond to operational challenges when needed.
