We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to develop a programmatic advertising platform where milliseconds directly affect ad-buying decisions. You’ll work on high-throughput, low-latency backend systems, applying your AdTech or RTB expertise to challenges in real-time advertising.
Responsibilities

Build and improve backend services supporting real-time ad-buying and delivery decisions.

Identify performance bottlenecks and improve throughput, latency and reliability.

Develop bidding flows, advertising integrations and services processing bid-stream data.

Contribute to technical decisions across performance-critical backend components.

Apply your domain knowledge to engineering challenges in programmatic advertising.
Requirements

Senior-level backend engineering experience, including work on high-throughput, low-latency production systems.

Strong experience in RTB or AdTech, particularly in programmatic advertising, media delivery or advertising marketplaces.

Solid backend engineering experience with Node.js/TypeScript, Go, Rust, Java or Python, and the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies.

The ability to investigate performance issues and make sound engineering trade-offs.

Strong software engineering fundamentals and a practical approach to solving complex technical problems.
Nice to have

Knowledge of OpenRTB 2.5/2.6, IAB standards and advertising formats.

Experience with DSPs, SSPs, ad exchanges, header bidding or Prebid.

Familiarity with OpenRTB Native, VAST, bid shading, pacing or frequency capping.

Understanding of IAB TCF 2.2 and GDPR consent handling in advertising systems.
