Qualifications:

• Atleast 2 years of experience in internship coordination, placement services, recruitment, HR, talent acquisition, or student services

OR

• Atleast 2 years in administrative or operations roles involving coordination and documentation
• Experiencein higher education internship programs is highly desirable
• Experience in data tracking and reporting systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

1. Internship Deployment and Coordination

• Facilitate timely endorsement and deployment of college and SHS students to accredited industry partners.
• Ensure students prioritize official partner companies before considering non-accredited organizations.
• Review non-partner internship applications and assess organizational suitability.
• Coordinate internship documentation requirements and compliance processes.
• Ensure 100% internship placement per academic term.

2. Internship Monitoring and Quality Assurance

• Monitor internship progress and maintain structured communication with students and partner supervisors.
• Consolidate student-to-company and company-to-student evaluation reports.
• Address internship escalations and coordinate resolution with concerned parties.
• Identify performance trends and areas for improvement.
• Submit end-of-term internship performance reports.

3. Graduate Placement Tracking

• Track employment outcomes of graduating students.
• Maintain updated placement database and alumni employment records.
• Coordinate job posting approvals in alignment with unit guidelines.
• Support recruitment events and job fairs.
• Analyze internship-to-hire conversion rates.

4. Data Management and Reporting

• Maintain an updated internship and placement database.
• Generate quarterly placement analytics dashboards.
• Prepare an annual Graduate Employability Report in coordination with the Manager.
• Ensure documentation accuracy for compliance and audit purposes.

5. Cross-Unit Collaboration

• Coordinate with the Industry Partnerships Officer to ensure sufficient partner capacity.
• Work with the Career Development and Industry Readiness Officer to align student preparedness with employer expectations.
• Collaborate with the Academics Unit and Student Formation Unit on internship-related concerns.
