We are looking for a senior‑level Frontend Engineer who is experienced in building modern Angular applications within a distributed, cloud‑native environment. The role requires strong technical ownership, a quality‑first mindset, and the ability to design and implement performant, scalable frontend solutions.

Project Description — Digital Customer Ecosystem

We are building a comprehensive ecosystem of digital tools for our customers that unifies eCommerce, Product Information and Content leading to into a single coherent Self-Service experience. Our ambition is to support the entire lifecycle: discovery → evaluation → purchase → usage → support → repeat business.

Technology Stack

• Angular v16+, including:
• Signals - 8
• Dependency Injection with @inject
• Standalone components
• Server‑Side Rendering (SSR) using Angular Universal
• State management using Angular built‑in patterns with Signals and RxJS – 4 years
• Networking:
• HttpClient with interceptors
• Custom streamed‑response handling using fetch + ReadableStream (SSE‑like workflows)
• Icon system built on SVG sprites (<symbol>‑based), replacing traditional webfonts

Testing & Quality

• Unit testing with required 70–75% minimum coverage
• Cypress for component and visual regression testing
• Storybook for UI development and component documentation

Performance & Observability

• Load testing with k6, including custom metrics and tagging (e.g., page_type, timestamp)
• Monitoring and visualization of performance/test metrics using Grafana

Backend Integration

• SSR & API orchestration running on Node.js

(primarily Express or NestJS)

• REST‑based integration with backend services
• Full HTTP status/error handling and server‑side logging

Architecture & Infrastructure

• Microfrontend‑like deployment model with independently deployable applications
• Dockerized runtime environments
• Dynamic runtime configuration and environment‑based separation
• Feature flag system for enabling/disabling modules without redeployment

Design & UX

• Work based on Figma prototypes and design‑driven development workflows
• Use of shared design system: color tokens, typography, spacing, components

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high‑quality Angular applications using modern framework capabilities
• Collaborate with backend, QA, UX, and architecture teams within a cross‑functional setup
• Ensure SSR performance, accessibility, and frontend observability
• Implement robust client‑side logic, error handling, and state management
• Contribute to UI component quality through Storybook and Cypress tests
• Support load‑testing and performance‑measurement initiatives (k6 + Grafana)
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies, refinement, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure production readiness through logging, monitoring, and runtime configuration practices

About the opportunity

In this role, you shape and develop our next‑generation digital customer ecosystem. You design modern Angular applications in a cloud‑native environment and help us deliver a seamless self‑service experience across eCommerce, product information and digital content. Your tasks include

• Building and maintaining high‑quality Angular applications using the latest framework capabilities (v16+, Signals, DI with @inject, standalone components).
• Ensuring smooth Server‑Side Rendering performance with Angular Universal.
• Implementing robust client‑side logic, effective error handling and clean state management using Signals and RxJS.
• Collaborating with backend, QA, UX and architecture teams to deliver high‑impact features in a distributed setup.
• Contributing to UI quality through Storybook documentation and Cypress component/visual regression tests.
• Supporting performance and load testing initiatives (k6 + Grafana) to ensure a fast and reliable user experience.
• Ensuring production readiness through logging, monitoring and runtime configuration best practices.

Your profile

• Strong experience in modern Angular development and scalable frontend architecture.
• Fluency in English.
• Hands‑on knowledge in SSR, REST integrations and Node.js‑based orchestration (Express or NestJS).
• Ability to work confidently in complex application landscapes with micro frontend‑like deployment models.
• Comfortable with Dockerized environments, feature flag systems and dynamic runtime configuration.
• Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills for working with cross‑functional European teams.
• Demonstrated focus on code quality, maintainability and test coverage (unit tests, Cypress).
• Nice to have: experience with performance or security testing, exposure to Node.js internals, micro frontend orchestration or AI‑assisted development/testing tools.

Pay: Php120,000.00 - Php200,000.00 per month
