Job Description – QA Engineer
Location: Gurugram Work Mode: Work from Office Working Days: 6 Days a Week Employment Type: Full-Time
Role Overview
We are looking for a responsible and technically strong QA Engineer who can take complete ownership of assigned tasks and ensure that work is completed correctly, thoroughly and within committed timelines.
The candidate should have a strong understanding of software testing and must be comfortable working with Python, FastAPI, Docker, Cloud platforms and AI-based applications and tools.
We are looking for someone who does not require constant follow-up and understands that QA is responsible for ensuring that the final product delivered is reliable, tested and ready for use.
Key Responsibilities
- Take complete ownership of QA tasks from assignment to final closure.
- Complete testing accurately and within agreed deadlines.
- Perform manual, functional, regression, integration, API and system testing.
- Test backend applications and APIs developed using FastAPI.
- Test AI-based applications, workflows and AI-powered features.
- Identify, document and track bugs until complete resolution.
- Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve technical issues.
- Verify all fixes before final release.
- Ensure that resolved issues do not create new bugs or regressions.
- Test APIs using tools such as Postman.
- Understand application logs, API responses and basic backend workflows.
- Test applications running through Docker containers.
- Understand deployment and testing environments on Cloud platforms.
- Maintain clear test cases, QA reports and defect documentation.
- Communicate immediately if a task or release is at risk of delay.
- Coordinate professionally with developers, project managers, clients and stakeholders.
- Take responsibility for the overall quality of the work being delivered.
- Be willing to extend working hours occasionally when a critical release, client commitment or urgent issue must be completed.

The candidate should be familiar with Artificial Intelligence and modern AI tools and should be comfortable testing AI-powered applications.

- Large Language Models (LLMs)
- ChatGPT
- Claude
- Gemini
- AI APIs
- Prompt-based applications
- AI Agents and automated workflows
- Testing AI-generated responses and outputs
- Understanding basic concepts such as hallucinations, response accuracy and consistency
The candidate does not necessarily need to be an AI researcher, but should be comfortable using AI tools and understanding how AI-based products behave and need to be tested.
Preferred Automation Skills
Knowledge of any of the following will be preferred:
- Selenium
- Playwright
- PyTest
- Python-based test automation
- API Automation
- CI/CD testing workflows

- Is comfortable working 6 days a week from the Gurugram office.
- Is willing to work beyond regular hours occasionally when genuinely required to complete an important release or deadline.

This is a 100% Work-from-Office position in Gurugram.
We are looking for serious candidates who believe in ownership, responsibility, accuracy and timely delivery. Candidates should be comfortable working with modern software systems, AI applications and rapidly evolving technologies.
Candidates looking only for remote or hybrid roles, or those uncomfortable taking responsibility for deadlines and quality, may not be suitable for this position.
Pay: From ₹40,000.00 per month
