About the Role
We are looking for an experienced DBA Engineer to join the EQ DWH project. You will be responsible for managing and supporting SQL Server databases, ensuring system stability and performance, and resolving production issues. The role also involves knowledge transfer and participation in operational support activities.
🔧 Key Responsibilities

Administer and maintain Microsoft SQL Server 2016+.

Monitor database performance, availability, backups, and recovery.

Troubleshoot and resolve database and production issues.

Manage Windows Server environments and develop PowerShell scripts.

Automate routine DBA tasks and maintain technical documentation.

Perform knowledge transfer and handover activities.

Participate in the support rota, including weekends when required.
🎯 Required Skills & Experience

5–10 years of experience in Database Administration.

Strong hands-on expertise in SQL Server 2016+.

Good knowledge of Windows Server Administration.

Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Flexibility to participate in rota-based support and weekend coverage when required.
