We’re looking for a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to shape and evolve secure, scalable, and developer-friendly capabilities within a Microsoft Azure environment.

You’ll take ownership of platform engineering, cloud security, networking, and Infrastructure as Code, helping establish consistent engineering standards across the platform. Security and Developer Experience will be at the heart of your work, guided by the five pillars of the Microsoft Azure Well-Architected Framework.

You’ll also explore practical applications of Generative AI to accelerate infrastructure delivery, improve diagnostics, and enhance operational efficiency.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Lead the design, implementation, automation, and operation of secure and scalable Microsoft Azure platform capabilities.

• Apply the Azure Well-Architected Framework across security, reliability, cost optimization, operational excellence, and performance efficiency.

• Own Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform, including module design and state management.

• Lead Azure networking initiatives involving VNets, peering, Virtual WAN, ExpressRoute, Network Security Groups, Azure Firewall, and Application Gateway.

• Implement and maintain cloud security policies, governance standards, and guardrails.

• Work with Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Policy, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and Azure Key Vault.

• Design and maintain infrastructure CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins, incorporating GitOps practices.

• Develop automation and scripting solutions using Python or PowerShell.

• Improve platform observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and alerting solutions.

• Build developer-facing platform capabilities, reusable templates, and onboarding processes that improve the engineering experience.

• Drive the adoption of Generative AI tools to support infrastructure development, diagnostics, and operational troubleshooting.

• Promote platform engineering best practices, including modularity, policy-as-code, observability, and SRE principles.

• Collaborate with cloud architects, security and network engineers, application teams, SRE/DevOps, and other stakeholders.

• Mentor engineers, share knowledge, and contribute to technical standards and platform documentation.

WHAT YOU BRING

• 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, cloud networking, and platform engineering, with proven Microsoft Azure delivery at scale.

• Demonstrable experience applying the Azure Well-Architected Framework to architectural decisions, platform reviews, and continuous improvement.

• Deep, hands-on expertise in Terraform, including module design and state management.

• Strong experience with Azure networking, hybrid connectivity, routing, and network segmentation.

• Practical knowledge of Azure security and governance tools, including Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Policy, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and Azure Key Vault.

• Experience designing and owning infrastructure CI/CD pipelines and applying GitOps practices.

• Strong automation and scripting skills in Python or PowerShell.

• Experience with Azure observability tools, including Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.

• A track record of improving developer experience through platform capabilities, templates, tooling, or onboarding processes.

• Practical experience applying Generative AI tools, such as GitHub Copilot, Azure OpenAI, or ChatGPT, to development or infrastructure-related tasks.

• Confidence working across Windows and Linux environments.

• Experience working in Agile teams, including shaping epics and user stories in Jira.

• A relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
