OncoCare Philippines is building on the legacy of the Central Luzon Integrated Oncology Center (CLIOC) to expand access to integrated, high-quality cancer care across the Philippines. Located in San Fernando, Pampanga, OncoCare provides advanced oncology services, including a twin Tomotherapy system, chemotherapy and supportive care, as part of Tamarind Health’s wider oncology network in Asia.
Our ambition is to grow beyond a single centre and develop a scalable oncology platform that brings together medical expertise, advanced technology, strong referral networks and coordinated patient care.
Director of Business Development & Projects
Reporting to the SVP, Strategy & Corporate Development, the Director of Business Development will be responsible for identifying, evaluating and executing business growth opportunities for OncoCare across the Philippines, while leading the planning, development and implementation of new centres, facility expansions and other strategic growth initiatives.
1) Key Responsibilities
· Develop and execute a nationwide business development plan to expand the organisation's presence in the Philippines.
· Identify, assess and prioritise opportunities for new oncology centres, treatment facilities and complementary cancer care services.
· Prepare business cases and feasibility studies, including financial projections, profitability analysis and investment returns.
· Develop and maintain relationships with hospital groups, healthcare providers, property owners, investors and strategic partners.
· Lead commercial negotiations and transaction discussions, including partnership agreements, leases and management contracts.
· Drive strategic partnerships and referral network development to support business growth.
· Lead approved expansion projects from concept, site evaluation and feasibility through construction, commissioning and operational launch.
· Manage project budgets, timelines and resource allocation, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
· Work closely with clinical, operational and corporate teams to ensure expansion plans align with organisational objectives.
· Prepare and present business development updates, project progress reports and strategic recommendations to senior management and the Board.
2) Qualifications & Education
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Project Management, Healthcare Management or a related field.
· 8+ years of relevant experience in business development, healthcare expansion or project development.
· Experience in the Philippine healthcare sector, including hospital networks and regulatory processes, is required.
