This role directly supports financial risk containment and data transparency across DKSH's Singapore operations.

What You Will Deliver

  • Proactively follow up on overdue A&P balances, dispute cases, credit notes, and refunds to ensure timely resolution and clear audit trails.
  • Investigate and resolve incorrect postings and reverse entries, including Exceedra-related mismatches, in close coordination with BU, Claims, General Ledger (GL), and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) teams.
  • Track and manage main Accounts Receivable (AR) account parking items, validate deduction details, and drive full clearance in partnership with BPO teams or customers.
  • Coordinate with BU and Finance stakeholders on Profit and Loss (P&L) charge proposals for long-aged or non-recoverable A&P items, supported by documented analysis and evidence.
  • Monitor daily Exceedra Success and Error reports, raise and manage system tickets, and follow through until root cause resolution is achieved.
  • Issue Credit Notes for approved A&P invoices based on validated BU or customer submissions, ensuring accuracy and full system alignment.
  • Maintain and update A&P trackers, matrices, and control logs to uphold data integrity, version control, and operational transparency.
  • Drive continuous process improvement through simplification, standardisation, and enhanced use of automation and system capabilities.
  • Support audits, internal reviews, and management reporting by delivering clear, defensible, and well-documented A&P positions.
  • (Senior Executive) Serve as a subject-matter reference point for A&P clearing, U-aging logic, and Exceedra processing, guiding and supporting junior team members in issue analysis and stakeholder communication.
  • (Senior Executive) Review team work outputs for accuracy, completeness, and control compliance, and support the Credit Control Manager in process reviews, control enhancements, and change initiatives.
  • Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required.

What You Bring

  • Minimum Diploma or GCE 'A' Level in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Executive: Minimum 1 year of experience in Accounts Receivable, collections, credit control, or related finance operations.
  • Senior Executive: Minimum 3 years of relevant AR and credit control experience, with demonstrated experience in guiding, reviewing, or coordinating the work of others.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office tools, with the ability to manage large data sets, trackers, and reconciliations effectively.
  • Working knowledge of SAP AR modules; experience with Exceedra or similar A&P systems is a strong advantage.
  • Sound understanding of AR ageing, deductions, A&P mechanics, and clearing logic.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with attention to detail and a root-cause approach to issue resolution.
  • Clear and structured communicator, able to engage BU, Finance, BPO, and system teams with professionalism.
  • Proficient in English (written and spoken); proficiency in Mandarin is preferred given stakeholder and customer interaction requirements.
  • Demonstrates an ownership mindset, with the ability to adapt to process changes, remain calm under pressure, and deliver consistently in a control-driven environment.
