We are currently recruiting for a Visual Quality Inspector to join a well-established automotive engineering company specialising in high-quality brightware components for the automotive industry.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail who takes pride in ensuring automotive components meet the highest quality and visual standards.
The role involves inspecting highly visual, cosmetic automotive parts where surface finish, appearance and presentation are critical.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out detailed visual inspections of automotive brightware components.
- Identify cosmetic defects including scratches, dents, blemishes, marks and surface imperfections.
- Ensure components meet strict automotive quality and appearance standards.
- Inspect polished, plated and decorative automotive finishes.
- Separate and report non-conforming components.
- Maintain accurate quality inspection records.
- Work closely with production teams to maintain consistent quality standards.
- Ensure a clean, organised and safe working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in quality inspection, manufacturing or automotive engineering is desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong visual inspection skills.
- Ability to identify minor cosmetic defects and surface imperfections.
- A methodical and reliable approach to work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience inspecting high-finish or decorative automotive components would be advantageous.

- 4-day working week – Monday to Thursday
