**Job Description** **Responsibilities**
* Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services and REST APIs. * Build reliable, modular, and maintainable software following engineering best practices. * Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, QA, and senior engineers to deliver high\-quality features. * Participate in the design and implementation of cloud\-native, microservices\-based applications. * Optimize application performance, database queries, and API response times. * Contribute to code reviews and continuously improve code quality. * Debug production issues and participate in on\-call rotations when required. * Write unit and integration tests to ensure software reliability. * Work with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes to deliver software efficiently. * Learn and adopt engineering best practices, including security, observability, and performance optimization.
**Requirements**
* Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging AI\-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot or similar) to improve developer productivity and code quality. * **3–5 years** of experience in backend software development. * Strong knowledge of **Data Structures \& Algorithms (DSA)** with the ability to write efficient, optimized code. * Strong understanding of **Object\-Oriented Programming (OOP)** and software design principles. * Experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services. * Good understanding of system design fundamentals and distributed systems concepts. * Experience with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and exposure to NoSQL databases. * Familiarity with caching technologies (Redis/Memcached) and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar). * Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP. * Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development practices. * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills. * Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within cross\-functional teams. * Willingness to learn, take ownership of assigned features, and continuously improve engineering practices.

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. * Experience building and maintaining backend services in production environments. * Familiarity with microservices architecture. * Exposure to observability tools, logging, and monitoring is a plus. * Experience working on SaaS or cloud\-based applications is preferred. * Comfortable working in a fast\-paced, collaborative engineering environment.
