Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Entry Level Software Developer to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using programming languages such as Java, Python, Ruby on Rails, and JavaScript frameworks like React and Express.
- Collaborate within Agile teams to deliver features iteratively, ensuring continuous improvement and rapid deployment through CI/CD pipelines utilizing tools like GitHub, SVN, and Git.
- Contribute to system design efforts for scalable systems by applying design patterns and best practices for microservices architecture on cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party APIs to enhance application functionality while ensuring security through RBAC (Role-Based Access Control).
- Write clean, efficient code for front-end development with JavaScript frameworks and back-end services supporting web development projects.
- Support database management tasks involving SQL databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, and data migration.
- Participate in code reviews, testing procedures, and documentation efforts to uphold high standards of software quality and maintainability.
- Engage in system troubleshooting, performance tuning, and implementing scalability solutions to ensure robust application performance across diverse environments including Linux servers.
Experience
- A strong foundation in software development principles with exposure to multiple programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or C.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure concepts including cloud infrastructure (AWS), microservices architecture, REST APIs, and scalable system design.
- Hands-on experience with web development frameworks like React or Express.js for front-end or back-end development respectively.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git or SVN along with experience in CI/CD workflows for automated testing and deployment.
- Understanding of Agile software development methodologies to collaborate effectively within fast-paced teams.
- Basic knowledge of database management systems including SQL (MySQL or similar) for data storage solutions.
- Exposure to software engineering best practices including design patterns, API integration, security protocols like RBAC, and system scalability considerations.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies such as Quantum engineering concepts or advanced cloud services that can enhance application capabilities.
