- Senior data engineer focused on pipeline development and SAP data integration
- Supports the Delivery Lead in architecture decisions and code reviews
- Contributes to data quality and performance optimisation initiatives
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain data pipelines from SAP and non-SAP sources
- Develop and optimise ETL/ELT jobs using Python, SQL and cloud tools
- Implement data models aligned with Anglo American reporting requirements
- Perform root cause analysis on data quality issues and document corrective actions
- Support SAP DataSphere / BW integration and data provisioning
Skill Requirements
- Python, SQL, PySpark – advanced level
- SAP BW / DataSphere / HANA data extraction
- Azure Data Factory or equivalent cloud pipeline tool
- Data modelling and warehouse design
- Fluent Spanish & English
