Responsibilities:
- Creating and updating accurate technical drawings using AutoCAD.
- Producing and interpreting both 2D and 3D engineering drawings.
- Assisting with structural steel detailing and concrete construction drawings.
- Working alongside engineers, project managers and other team members to bring designs to life.
- Interpreting technical specifications, construction plans and project requirements.
- Updating drawings based on design changes, feedback and project developments.
- Maintaining organised drawing records and technical documentation.
- Helping ensure projects meet quality standards and deadlines.
Requirements:
- A Matric certificate.
- An N4 or N5 qualification in Draughting, Engineering or a related technical field.
- Approximately 2–3 years of relevant draughting experience.
- Practical experience using AutoCAD.
- Experience producing both 2D and 3D drawings.
- Essential: Previous experience in concrete construction and structural steel engineering.
- An understanding of construction drawings, steel structures and building projects.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
