Our client is looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to join their team in Johannesburg. This role is for experienced Consulting Engineers to learn about Forensic Structural Engineering.
Requirements:
- Structural Engineering qualification
- 5+ years Consulting Engineering experience
- ECSA Registration mandatory
- Knowledge and application of SANS codes.
- Experience in structural inspections, due diligence, structural claims and investigations.
- Exposure to forensic structural engineering, structural failure investigations and failure analysis would be highly advantageous.
- Experience with Tekla, AutoCAD, Prokon and/or Revit would be advantageous.
- Excellent technical report writing and English are particularly important.
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform in a high-pressure, high-paced environment.
