Whether you’re an experienced professional or just starting out, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute, grow, and make a lasting impact on industries that power the world’s most dynamic markets.</p> </div></div><p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Location: </span></strong><span data-contrast="auto">US Remote</span></p> <p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Reports To: </span></strong><span data-contrast="auto"></span>Director of Estimation and Business Development</p> <p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Salary Range:&nbsp;</span></strong><span data-contrast="auto">$100,000-$120,000</span></p> <p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Position Summary: </span></strong></p> <p>You will be part of the Estimating Department that will provide the Sales Division with support by performing proposal preparation and in-depth analysis of engineering and design.</p> <p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Key Responsibilities:</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span data-contrast="auto"></span></strong></p> <ul> <li>Prepare technical quotations for Low Voltage (LV) and Medium Voltage (MV) switchgear projects by analyzing project requirements and associated costs.</li> <li>Develop accurate cost estimates by collecting and evaluating raw material, labor, equipment, and tooling costs.</li> <li>Identify, assess, and quantify cost uncertainties to ensure comprehensive and reliable costing models.</li> <li>Update estimates and pricing based on project scope changes, revised specifications, and new information.</li> <li>Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Project Management, Engineering, and Procurement teams throughout the quotation process.</li> <li>Review and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, bid documents, and RFQs to develop accurate proposals.</li> <li>Prepare and submit quotation packages and proposals in response to customer RFQs.</li> <li>Obtain and provide pricing for buyout items from approved vendor partners as requested by the Sales team.</li> <li>Analyze RFQ documentation and summarize key requirements, risks, and project details for internal stakeholders.</li> <li>Support the Sales team by communicating critical project information and ensuring quotation accuracy and completeness.</li> </ul> <p><strong><span data-contrast="auto"></span></strong></p> <p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Qualifications:</span></strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering</li> <li>3+ years of experience electrical equipment manufacturing</li> <li>Experience in reading single line diagrams, panel schedules, and specifications</li> <li>Expert knowledge of LV/MV switchgear</li> <li>Experience with technical proposals &amp; quotations in electrical equipment manufacturing</li> <li>Excellent computer, communication, and organizational skills are a must</li> <li>Intermediate knowledge with automation &amp; control and metering solutions</li> <li>Travel will be required during on-boarding and training periods.
