Whether you’re an experienced professional or just starting out, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute, grow, and make a lasting impact on industries that power the world’s most dynamic markets.</p> </div></div><p><strong>Position Summary: </strong></p> <p>IEM is currently seeking a Material Handler for our Greenfield, IN location and will report into the Shipping Manager.</p> <p><strong>Please note: This position requires 100% in-office presence in our Greenfield, IN offices and does not offer remote work.</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, components, and supplies against purchase orders and packing slips</li> <li>Unload and stage incoming shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment</li> <li>Store materials in designated locations in accordance with inventory management procedures and safety requirements</li> <li>Pick, kit, and stage materials for production orders accurately and on time to support manufacturing schedules</li> <li>Issue materials to the production floor and obtain required sign-offs to maintain accurate inventory records</li> <li>Conduct cycle counts and participate in physical inventory audits; investigate and report discrepancies</li> <li>Coordinate with the Production Planning and Scheduling teams to prioritize material movement based on production needs</li> <li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the warehouse and on the production floor in compliance with 5S standards</li> <li>Package and prepare finished goods or sub-assemblies for transfer or shipment as directed</li> <li>Operate material handling equipment safely and report maintenance needs promptly</li> <li>Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy, material flow, and warehouse organization</li> <li>The candidate will be expected to perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Qualifications: </strong></p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in supply chain, logistics, or a related field is an asset</li> <li>1 or more years of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling role</li> <li>Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification; experience with pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment</li> <li>Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems; experience with INFOR/SyteLine is an asset</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling parts, components, and documentation</li> <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adapt to shifting priorities</li> <li>Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with production, planning, and scheduling teams</li> <li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods throughout the shift</li> <li>Demonstrated career ambition with a track record of growth and increasing responsibility; highly promotable with the potential to take on broader leadership roles within a fast-paced, high-growth organization</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Compensation actually offered for this role will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
