Hiring: Senior iOS App Developer
Location: Malaysia Employment Type: Permanent Salary: Up to RM15,000/month
We are looking for an experienced Senior iOS App Developer to join a team working on a sophisticated mobile application and SDK development project.
This role is ideal for a senior iOS engineer with strong Swift expertise, hands-on SDK development experience, and a passion for building scalable, high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality iOS applications and software development kits (SDKs).
- Design and implement robust solutions using Swift and modern iOS development practices.
- Work with UIKit and SwiftUI, including migrating existing UIKit components to SwiftUI.
- Apply MVVM architecture to build maintainable and scalable applications.
- Implement asynchronous operations using Swift Concurrency, including async/await and Actors.
- Utilize Combine for reactive programming.
- Package and distribute SDKs using Swift Package Manager.
- Manage project configurations and generation using Tuist.
- Collaborate with the development team using GitHub and/or GitLab.
- Support CI/CD processes using tools such as Jenkins and Fastlane.
- Explore opportunities to leverage AI tools to improve software development efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of professional iOS development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Swift, ideally including Swift 6.
- Proven experience in SDK development and distribution, beyond conventional iOS application development.
- Solid experience with UIKit, SwiftUI, and UIKit-to-SwiftUI migration.
- Good understanding of MVVM architecture.
- Strong knowledge of Swift Concurrency, async/await, Actors, and Combine.
- Experience with Swift Package Manager and Swift Packages.
- Familiarity with Tuist for project configuration and generation.
- Experience with GitHub and/or GitLab.
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices, particularly Jenkins and Fastlane.
- Experience with Swift Macros is an advantage.
- Basic understanding or practical experience with AI-assisted software development is a plus.
