Qualifications
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
- Minimum 1–2 years of proven experience in technical sales.
- This position is not suitable for beginners or fresh graduates.
- Proven experience in selling technical or industrial products is required.
Technical Requirements
- Basic knowledge of CNC machines is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of CNC machining processes.
- Good knowledge of fabrication and sheet metal bending processes.
- Ability to understand engineering drawings and manufacturing requirements.
- Familiarity with manufacturing industry terminology and production processes.
Language Requirements
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently.
- Knowledge of Hindi is considered an asset.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the manufacturing sector.
- Promote and sell CNC-related products, fabrication solutions, and sheet metal products.
- Meet with customers to understand their technical requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Prepare quotations, follow up on inquiries, and negotiate pricing.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers while expanding the customer base.
- Coordinate with engineering and production teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Provide technical presentations and product demonstrations when required.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and customer visit reports.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and new manufacturing technologies.
- Attend customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events as required.
- Provide excellent after-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction.
