A global giant leader in the beverage/alcohol industry is looking for an Inbound Specialist to join their Operations Department. Responsible for overseeing and executing the deployment of tier one resources from international or domestic supply sources. The incumbent will work in collaboration with either the planning or logistics team to ensure the timely and accurate execution of POS (point of sales) or stock shipments to all primary warehouses is carried out as per the Net requirements or stock/POS replenishment plan.
- Manage import process
- Manage and facilitate deployment process
- Analysis and reporting of stock availability
- Regulatory Compliance
- Reporting on non-conformance
- Ad Hoc reporting on Inbound/Import issues related to: Freight Forwarders, Brand Companies and Clearing Agent
- Productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders maintained
- Liaise with brand companies
- Liaise with clearing agents
Experience
- National Diploma in Supply Chain and inventory management or similar
- and/or
- 2-3 years relevant experience in a Supply Chain, Imports Sea & Air, Exports, Inventory Management, Logistics and Replenishment role in a FMCG environment
