Description/Synopsis:
Our client, an industry leading Agriculture Company with a national footprint, is seeking an Agricultural Area Sales Manager to manage and expand seed sales across the Port Elizabeth/Gqeberha region This role manages a network of independent sales agents, ensuring they meet sales targets, deliver excellent farmer service, and maintain strong product representation in the area. You will act as the key link between agents, farmers and head office — overseeing sales flow, resolving seed-related queries, and ensuring seamless delivery and invoicing processes. This is a field-driven role suited to someone confident, organised, and passionate about agriculture and relationship-based selling.
Minimum Requirements:

Agricultural qualification or studying towards
-
3–5 years’ experience in agricultural sales or agronomy
-
Valid driver’s licence
-
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
-
Ability to work independently and travel extensively

Comfortable managing agents and handling farmer queries, including complaints
Main Responsibilities:

Manage and support independent sales agents across the region
-
Ensure agents meet sales targets and follow correct processes

Oversee the full sales flow: agent sale ? admin ? delivery ? invoicing

Build strong relationships with farmers; handle seed-related queries and complaints

Conduct regular farm visits and agent check-ins

Monitor market activity and contribute to regional sales growth

Work from the field most days; occasional office days as required
