Role Purpose
The Logistics Manager will build and run efficient logistics processes that support project execution timelines, reduce material shortages and damage, control freight and warehousing costs, and maintain accurate inventory records across warehouses, yards, and solar project sites.

Ensure safe handling, loading, unloading, and storage of fragile and high-value solar equipment to prevent damage, theft, and losses.
Select, negotiate with, and monitor transporters, 3PL providers, warehouse vendors, and packing/loading contractors; track KPIs such as on-time delivery, order accuracy, damage rate, and cost per shipment.
Ensure compliance with transport regulations, safety standards, insurance requirements, statutory documentation, and company SOPs.
Manage logistics documentation, including purchase orders, delivery challans, e-way bills, GRNs, invoices, insurance papers, and site-receipt records.
Identify logistics risks—such as supplier delays, damaged consignments, route disruptions, or site-access issues—and implement contingency plans.
Train and supervise logistics coordinators, warehouse staff, drivers, and site material handlers; conduct performance reviews and root-cause analysis for recurring issues.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly logistics reports on dispatch status, inventory, delivery performance, costs, damages, and open issues.
Support continuous improvement initiatives, including better material traceability, warehouse utilization, route optimization, and digital tracking systems.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
5–8+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse, or transportation management; experience in solar, renewable energy, EPC, electrical equipment, or construction materials is strongly preferred.
