AIS-140 Operations Manager

About the Role
We are looking for a highly execution-driven Operations Manager to lead large-scale AIS-140 device
deployments and field operations. This role requires strong expertise in field team management,
installation quality, and operational efficiency across fleet projects.
Key Responsibilities

Drive end-to-end deployment of AIS-140 devices across buses, taxis, and commercial fleets

Plan and execute daily installation schedules to meet project timelines

Manage and lead field technicians, supervisors, and vendor partners

Monitor and improve:
-
Installations per day
-
First-time-right (FTR) installations
-
Device activation rates
-
Ensure strict adherence to AIS-140 compliance and installation SOPs
-
Conduct field audits, quality checks, and training sessions
-
Manage installation vendors and track SLA performance
-
Oversee post-installation support and service SLAs
-
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce rework

Prepare and present MIS reports and dashboards for leadership
Key Requirements :

4–5 years of experience in:
-
Telematics / IoT / Automotive / Field Operations

Hands-on experience in:
-
GPS / AIS-140 device installations (preferred)

Managing field teams and vendors
-
Strong understanding of:

Vehicle electrical systems (wiring, ignition connections)

GPS/GSM-based tracking devices
-
Proven ability to:

Manage high-volume deployments
-
Drive execution and meet strict timelines
Education & Preferred Qualification

B.E / B.Tech in:
-
Electronics / Electrical / Automobile
-
Certification or exposure in:
-
Telematics / IoT systems
-
Automotive electronics
-
Vehicle diagnostics
Pay: ₹1,800,000.00 per year
Experience:
- AIS -140 Operations: 3 years (Required)
- Industry : IoT/ EV/Mobility Sectors : 4 years (Required)
