Network Innovations delivers mission-critical connectivity to customers who can't afford downtime – across satellite, cellular and terrestrial networks, in some of the world's most remote and demanding environments. We're creating a new role to lead the strategy and delivery of our customer portal and partner tools – the digital products our customers and partners rely on to buy, activate, manage and support their services.

Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, you'll create a vision for how our Digital Products can further our organizational strategy and own the digital product roadmap end to end: product management, software engineering, DevOps and platform operations. You'll have clear authority over priorities and be accountable for delivering secure, reliable and scalable products in a global, 24/7 environment.

This role suits a leader who stays calm and clear-headed when priorities shift with little notice, listens first, understands people’s perspectives and brings teams together through trust, empathy and follow-through. You will shape a brand-new function, exercise real decision-making authority and build digital products that keep critical operations connected around the world.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Own and evolve an integrated roadmap for the customer portal, partner tools and APIs, and re-prioritize quickly and transparently as business needs change
  • Translate corporate strategy into measurable product outcomes and make clear trade-offs between growth, customer experience, reliability, security and technical health
  • Align stakeholders across Sales, Operations, Support, Finance, IT, Security and Legal, and present recommendations and risks to senior leadership
  • Lead engineering and product teams through your direct reports, the Engineering Director and the Product Owner, using a practical, predictable Agile delivery model
  • Own DevOps and production operations, including CI/CD, observability, release controls, incident response and service objectives for always-on services
  • Manage the portfolio budget, vendors, build-versus-buy decisions and cloud spend, and tie investment to real business results
  • Build a team culture of customer focus, ownership, continuous improvement and fact-based decisions
  • A willingness to live the company’s core values: Integrity, Humility, Respect, and Determination.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in digital product management, software engineering or technology delivery, including 5+ years leading multidisciplinary teams and managers.
  • Proven ownership of a multi-product digital roadmap, from prioritization and business cases to executive communication and outcome measurement.
  • Experience integrating digital products with back-end platforms such as CRM, ordering, provisioning and billing.
  • A track record of staying effective and keeping teams focused when priorities change quickly.
  • Experience managing budgets, vendors and mixed employee/contractor teams.
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A valid passport without restrictions; occasional international travel is required.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in satellite communications, telecom, managed network services, IoT or other always-on connectivity businesses
  • Hands-on experience delivering customer or partner portals, APIs, cloud services, DevOps/CI/CD and 24/7 production operations
  • Familiarity with multi-orbit (LEO/MEO/GEO) and hybrid connectivity ecosystems
  • Experience serving government, defence, maritime, energy, mining or other mission-critical sectors

Direct reports:

  • Engineering Director and Product Owner
