This Developer role sits within SafeWork NSW’s newly formed Data and Digital Systems Directorate, where technology is being used to modernise regulatory services and support safer, WHS\-compliant workplaces across NSW.
You will work as part of a skilled, agile and supportive team, collaborating with business analysts, service designers, testers and business users to turn business needs into practical, secure and reliable applications. Your work will help streamline processes, improve the user experience and deliver smarter digital services for the organisation and the people we serve.

You are a practical and collaborative developer who can explain technical concepts clearly, work effectively with analysts, designers, testers and business users.
You enjoy improving systems, learning new tools and finding better ways to deliver reliable, customer\-focused solutions that make work easier for staff and improve outcomes for the community.
To be successful, you will demonstrate: * Experience working across the software development lifecycle, including design, build, test, release and support * Ability to write, test and maintain code using relevant programming languages or frameworks * Understanding of, and ability to comply with, development standards, NSW Government design rules, accessibility standards, security practices and quality assurance processes * Experience designing, building or supporting solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, APIs/integration, JavaScript, C\#, .NET, SQL, Azure or similar technologies * Experience working in agile or project\-based environments * Strong problem\-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues * Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders including analysts, testers and business users * Experience with Salesforce is desirable but not essential
