  • Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $116,981 to $129,492 + super

Play a key role in shaping the future of open spaces across New South Wales.

As an Open Space Project Officer, you will contribute to the development and delivery of major public open space projects, programs and policies that enhance communities, improve liveability and support the state's long-term growth.

Make an impact where it matters most, by supporting the delivery of a diverse range of projects, undertaking research and analysis, preparing project and policy documentation, and contributing to strategic decision-making. You will manage external consultants and service providers, monitor project progress, prepare reports and briefs, and ensure projects are delivered in line with established objectives, timelines and quality standards.

Bring your strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills so you can work closely with government agencies, industry representatives, community stakeholders and internal teams to coordinate consultations, facilitate working groups and committee meetings, and maintain clear and transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle. Your ability to build effective relationships, manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes will be highly valued.
