Job Title: Associate – Statutory Audit

Experience: Fresher Charterd Accountant (with relevant articleship experience in Statutory Audit)

Location: Pune

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Chartered Accountant who is eager to build a career in Statutory Audit. The role offers exposure to end-to-end audit engagements, including audits of listed and unlisted companies under Ind AS, I-GAAP, and Internal Financial Controls (IFC) frameworks. The ideal candidate should have completed articleship with a reputed firm and gained strong hands-on experience in statutory audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, execution, and completion of statutory audits for various clients.

  • Support team members in performing audit procedures and preparing audit documentation.

  • Conduct testing for design and operating effectiveness of Internal Financial Controls (IFCs).

  • Knowledge about audit report, CARO 2020, Schedule III etc.

  • Prepare and review working papers and financial statements in compliance with Ind AS and I-GAAP.

  • Ensure timely and proper documentation and archival of audit files in accordance with firm standards.

  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members to resolve queries and ensure smooth audit execution.

  • Work closely with managers and partners to deliver high-quality audit results.

  • Following firm audit methodology and ensuring quality in audit engagement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (Fresher).

  • Completed articleship from a reputed CA firm with relevant experience in Statutory Audit.

  • Working knowledge of Ind AS, I-GAAP, and Companies Act requirements.

  • Exposure to listed company audits and IFC audits (preferred).

  • Strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt
