Job Title: Head – The HR Head is responsible for managing the complete human resources and administration functions of the factory, ensuring proper manpower planning, recruitment, employee discipline, statutory compliance, payroll management, employee welfare, and smooth factory operations.

The HR Head is responsible for managing the complete human resources and administration functions of the factory, ensuring proper manpower planning, recruitment, employee discipline, statutory compliance, payroll management, employee welfare, and smooth factory operations.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Recruitment & Manpower Planning
- Plan manpower requirements based on production targets.
- Recruit skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled workers.
- Handle recruitment of supervisors, engineers and office staff.
- Conduct interviews and coordinate employee selection.
- Maintain employee records and attendance details.
B. Employee Management & Discipline
- Maintain discipline and workplace behavior.
- Monitor employee attendance, punctuality and leave.
- Handle employee grievances and workplace conflicts.
- Implement factory rules and HR policies.
- Manage employee performance and appraisals.
- Reduce employee turnover and absenteeism.
C. Payroll & Attendance Management
- Supervise monthly salary processing.
- Manage overtime, shift allowances and incentives.
- Verify attendance, leave and overtime records.
- Coordinate salary disbursement.
- Maintain payroll documentation.
D. Statutory & Legal Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws.
- Manage PF, ESI, Professional Tax and other statutory requirements, as applicable.
- Coordinate factory labour inspections and audits.
- Maintain statutory registers and employee documentation.
- Ensure compliance with minimum wages, working hours and leave regulations.
- Coordinate with labour consultants and government authorities.
E. Factory Administration
- Manage housekeeping and facility administration.
- Supervise security personnel and canteen facilities.
- Monitor employee uniforms and safety equipment distribution.
- Coordinate transportation and other employee facilities.
- Support factory management in maintaining a safe working environment.
F. Training & Development
- Organize employee induction programmes.
- Arrange technical and safety training.
- Develop supervisor and team-leader skills.
- Conduct employee performance reviews.
- Improve workforce productivity through training.
G. Management Coordination
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores, Purchase and Maintenance departments.
- Review manpower requirements with department heads.
- Prepare monthly HR reports for management.
- Support management in implementing company policies.
3. Qualification & Experience
Requirement Details
Education : MBA HR / MSW / PG Diploma in HR
Experience : 8–12 years
Industry : Manufacturing / Engineering / Factory
Knowledge : Labour laws, PF, ESI, payroll
Leadership :Strong people-management skills
