Job Title: Sr. Azure Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Princeton, NJ Job Type: Full-Time Contract
Job Summary
We are seeking a Sr. Azure Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise Azure infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, networking, security, automation, and hybrid infrastructure environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure and cloud services.
- Manage Azure VMs, VNets, storage, networking, load balancing, and related services.
- Support hybrid connectivity between Azure and on-premises environments.
- Implement and maintain Azure security, IAM, RBAC, and access controls.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, ARM, or Bicep.
- Automate infrastructure and operational processes using PowerShell and Azure CLI.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity using Azure monitoring tools.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, and cloud-related issues.
- Support backup, disaster recovery, high availability, and business continuity solutions.
- Collaborate with DevOps, security, networking, and application teams.
- Maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or cloud engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Strong knowledge of Azure networking, VMs, storage, Azure AD/Entra ID, and security.
- Experience with Terraform, ARM/Bicep, PowerShell, and Azure CLI.
- Experience with hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Azure certifications are preferred.
Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
