Location: Punta Gorda, Sarasota, and Fort Myers, Florida
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, organized, and results-driven Project Manager to oversee projects throughout the Southwest Florida region, including Punta Gorda, Sarasota, and Fort Myers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating project activities, managing schedules and budgets, communicating with clients and team members, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Experience in the mobile home or manufactured housing industry is preferred. Candidates with experience managing construction, installation, renovation, or related projects in this industry are strongly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee projects from initial planning through completion.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and timelines.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, field personnel, and other project stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress to ensure deadlines, budgets, and quality expectations are met.
- Conduct site visits to assess progress, resolve issues, and maintain project standards.
- Communicate regularly with clients, management, and project teams regarding updates, changes, and potential challenges.
- Identify and resolve project-related issues proactively.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and records.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety standards, building codes, and company procedures.
- Manage multiple projects across the Southwest Florida service area as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in construction or a related industry.
- Experience in the mobile home or manufactured housing industry is preferred.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency with project management software and standard business applications.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.
- Ability to conduct regular job-site visits and work effectively in a field-based environment.
Compensation & Benefits
- Company Vehicle or Vehicle Allowance: Provided.
- Travel Expenses: Reimbursed in accordance with company policy.
- Work Schedule: Approximately 45–55 hours per week.
Work Location
This is a field-based position covering Punta Gorda, Sarasota, Fort Myers, and surrounding areas in Southwest Florida. Regular travel between project sites is required.
