**About the Role**
Apsaral is looking for a detail\-oriented **QA Engineer (Automation)** with experience in testing SaaS applications within the Healthcare domain. The candidate should have strong expertise in manual and automation testing, API validation, and experience working in Agile environments.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Develop and execute **test plans, test cases, and test scenarios** * Perform **manual and automated testing** of web applications and APIs * Conduct **functional, regression, integration, and performance testing** * Validate REST APIs using tools like Postman * Work closely with developers to identify, report, and track defects * Ensure application compliance with healthcare data security standards (HIPAA preferred) * Participate in sprint planning, daily stand\-ups, and review meetings * Maintain test documentation and quality reports * Support UAT and production release validation
**Required Skills**
* Strong knowledge of **Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)** and **Bug Life Cycle** * Experience in **Manual Testing** * Experience in **Automation Testing** (Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, Cucumber) * Experience in API testing * Familiarity with **Python\-based applications** (Django/FastAPI preferred) * Experience testing **microservices architecture** * Good understanding of **AWS environments** * Experience with JIRA or other defect tracking tools * Knowledge of database testing (SQL, MongoDB) * Methodologies: Agile Scrum
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience in Healthcare / HealthTech projects * Knowledge of HIPAA compliance * Experience testing SaaS\-based platforms * Strong analytical and communication skills
