About the Role
Apsaral is looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer (Automation) with experience in testing SaaS applications within the Healthcare domain. The candidate should have strong expertise in manual and automation testing, API validation, and experience working in Agile environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
- Perform manual and automated testing of web applications and APIs
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
- Validate REST APIs using tools like Postman
- Work closely with developers to identify, report, and track defects
- Ensure application compliance with healthcare data security standards (HIPAA preferred)
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and review meetings
- Maintain test documentation and quality reports
- Support UAT and production release validation
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Bug Life Cycle
- Experience in Manual Testing
- Experience in Automation Testing (Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, Cucumber)
- Experience in API testing
- Familiarity with Python-based applications (Django/FastAPI preferred)
- Experience testing microservices architecture
- Good understanding of AWS environments
- Experience with JIRA or other defect tracking tools
- Knowledge of database testing (SQL, MongoDB)
- Methodologies: Agile Scrum
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Healthcare / HealthTech projects
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance
- Experience testing SaaS-based platforms
- Strong analytical and communication skills
