Role Description
RAJGAURI Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is a leading manufacturer of Material Handling Equipment. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Design Engineer to join our engineering team.
The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving material handling equipment and related systems. The role involves creating detailed engineering drawings, 3D models, manufacturing documentation, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Material Handling Equipment such as Scissor Lifts, Goods Lifts, Hydraulic Platforms, Tuggers, Conveyors, and customized industrial solutions.
- Create 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Prepare General Arrangement (GA) drawings, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Review and optimize designs for manufacturability, cost, safety, and performance.
- Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, Production, and Quality departments for smooth project execution.
- Support prototype development, testing, and product validation activities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards and customer specifications.
- Provide technical support during manufacturing and installation stages.
- Maintain engineering documentation and revision control.
Required Skills
- Strong Design Engineering and Product Design skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Good knowledge of machine design, fabrication, hydraulics, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and customer requirements.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in designing Material Handling Equipment will be a significant advantage.
- Experience with hydraulic systems, lifting equipment, or industrial machinery is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of GD&T, design calculations, and FEA analysis will be an added advantage.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
