Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Zuora Billing Specialist with hands-on experience in Zuora Billing configuration, subscription management, and quote-to-cash processes. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Zuora Product Catalog, billing workflows, payments, subscriptions, amendments, and REST API integrations.Experience with MuleSoft or similar integration platforms, payment gateways, and API troubleshooting is essential. The role also requires expertise in designing complex Zuora Workflows and integrating tax engines such as Avalara for VAT/GST compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Manage Zuora Billing configuration and enhancements – Configure and maintain products, subscriptions, rate plans, billing rules, invoices, payments, and related Zuora components based on business requirements.
2.Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders – Understand requirements, translate them into Zuora solutions, participate in solution design, testing/UAT, deployments, and provide ongoing technical guidance and support.
3.Experience working with an integration layer such as MuleSoft and diagnosing cross-system failures.
Working knowledge of payment methods and gateways, including credit cards, ACH, direct debit, alternate payment methods, tokenized transactions, and country-specific requirements.
4.Experience designing complex Zuora Workflows
5.Experience with Avalara or other tax engines, in implementing VAT/GST on the invoice templates
Required Skills:
1. 6+ years of experience implementing, configuring, developing, or supporting Zuora Billing and subscription management solutions.
2. Strong hands-on knowledge of Zuora Product Catalog, subscriptions, amendments, billing, payments, usage, workflows, API Integrations, invoice templates, custom fields, and Zuora objects.
3. Experience with Zuora REST APIs, ZOQL, Workflow APIs, JSON, and API troubleshooting.
4. Practical understanding of the end-to-end quote-to-cash lifecycle and subscription lifecycle, including renewals, upgrades, downgrades, cancellations, refunds, chargebacks, and payment failures.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical billing behavior to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
