**Job Description**

**Job Title:**

Employability and Graduate Outcomes Officer / Team Member

**Reports to:**

Employability and Graduate Outcomes Manager

**Role Purpose:**

To provide high‑quality support that improves student employability, enhances learner experience, and contributes to improved graduate outcomes. The role combines student\-facing activities (advice, guidance, workshops) with employer\-facing tasks (supporting employer engagement, placements, events). The team member plays a key part in delivering employability services and tracking student destinations.

**Key Responsibilities**

**1\. Student Employability Support**

* Provide 1:1 guidance on CVs, applications, LinkedIn, interview skills, and job searching. * Support students to develop employability skills and career development plans. * Deliver or co\-deliver workshops, inductions, and employability sessions. * Signpost learners to relevant internal and external opportunities and resources. * Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress.

**2\. Graduate Outcomes \& Data Monitoring**

* Assist in collecting, inputting, and updating graduate destinations data. * Track student progression, job outcomes, and engagement with employability activities. * Support survey administration, follow‑up calls/emails, and data quality checks. * Produce basic reports and summaries to support performance monitoring.

**3\. Employer \& Client Engagement Support**

* Provide administrative and coordination support for employer partnerships. * Assist in sourcing opportunities: placements, internships, part\-time roles, graduate jobs. * Coordinate logistics for employer events, job fairs, and workshops. * Communicate effectively with employers regarding student profiles and opportunities.

**4\*.** Service Delivery \& Programme Support\*

* Contribute to the design and delivery of employability programmes and events. * Support marketing and promotion of employability activities (email campaigns, posters, digital content). * Help maintain employability resources, online portals, and vacancy boards. * Assist academic teams and programme leaders in embedding employability into the curriculum.

**5\. Administration \& Student Experience**

* Manage appointments, workshop bookings, attendance tracking, and service administration. * Respond to student and employer enquiries promptly and professionally. * Ensure high levels of student satisfaction aligned with organisational values.

**Skills \& Competencies**

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work with diverse student groups, including those with additional barriers. * Good organisational and administrative skills. * Competent in data handling and using digital systems (CRM, Excel, employability platforms). * Proactive, supportive, and student‑focused approach. * Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.

**Experience Required**

* Experience in student support, customer service, employability, careers, or administration. * Experience supporting events, workshops, or group activities (preferred). * Ability to engage with employers or external stakeholders (desirable). * Understanding of recruitment processes or careers guidance (beneficial but not essential).

**Qualifications**

* A minimum of bachelor’s degree in business, Administration or any related field. * Career guidance or employability\-related training is an advantage but not required.

**Requirements**

· **Work Location: Northampton (Work on\-site)**

· **This is a fulltime – permanent position**

· **Salary Range: £26000 \- £28000**

· **Must be eligible to work in UK.**

· **Must be available for work on weekends.**

Pay: £26,000\.00\-£28,000\.00 per year
