About the Role
We are looking for a Front End Developer who is equally strong in UI/UX design and front-end engineering. You will take projects from research and Figma wireframes to production-ready interfaces. You will divide your time between our in-house product, the Ritzzpay application, and client web applications delivered on a project basis. You will also lead your own UI/UX and front-end team, use AI tools to work faster, and keep your team aligned with the main product and engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
UI/UX Design
- Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews and requirement workshops
- Create personas, user journeys, information architecture and user flows
- Design wireframes, high-fidelity mock-ups and interactive prototypes in Figma
- Build and maintain a scalable Figma design system with components, variants, auto-layout, variables and themes
- Run usability tests and iterate on designs based on feedback
- Ensure accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA), responsive design and multilingual support where required
Front-End Development
- Convert Figma designs into clean, reusable code
- Build responsive layouts
- Develop a coded component library that mirrors the Figma design system
- Integrate with REST / GraphQL APIs, including authentication and state management
- Build dashboards, reports, data tables, forms, charts and multi-step workflows
- Optimise performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility
- Write unit and end-to-end tests and follow secure coding practices for financial data
Ritzzpay Product
- Own the end-to-end user experience of the Ritzzpay application
- Work with product managers on features, roadmap and releases
- Use analytics and user feedback to keep improving the product
Project-Based Web Applications
- Design and develop client web applications from discovery to go-live
- Turn client requirements into user flows, prototypes and working interfaces
- Present designs and demos to clients and stakeholders, and estimate effort
AI-Assisted Work
- Use AI tools for research, design, coding and testing
- Design interfaces for AI features such as chat assistants, recommendations and smart forms
- Set up AI workflows and guidelines for the team, and review AI output for quality and security
Team Leadership
- Build, mentor and manage a UI/UX and front-end team of 2–5 members
- Set design and coding standards, and run design and code reviews
- Align team sprints and deliverables with the main product and engineering team
- Coordinate with back-end, QA, product and business teams in an Agile setup
- Support hiring and onboarding of team members
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Design or equivalent experience
- 3+ years in front-end development, including UI/UX design for web applications
- A strong portfolio of end-to-end UX work and live web applications (mandatory)
- Expert-level Figma skills, including design systems, prototyping and Dev Mode
- Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with React.js and/or Angular
- Experience with Tailwind CSS, Material UI / Angular Material or Bootstrap
- Experience with state management (Redux / NgRx) and API integration
- Proficient with Git, npm, Vite / Webpack and CI/CD basics
- Testing experience with Jest, Cypress or Playwright
- Practical experience using AI tools for design and development
- Experience leading or mentoring designers and developers
- Good English communication; Telugu or Hindi is a plus
Good to Have
- Experience with fintech, payments, GST / income tax or compliance products
- Experience with e-governance portals and large-scale dashboards
- Mobile UI design, plus React Native or Flutter exposure
- Data visualisation (Chart.js, ECharts, D3.js)
- Motion design (Framer Motion, Lottie) and Figma-to-code token pipelines
- UX certifications (Google UX, NN/g, IDF)
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
