5. Market Intelligence and Broker Strategy

  • Monitor broker movements, competitor propositions, pricing activity, product gaps, and emerging distribution opportunities.
  • Convert market insight into target-broker lists, proposition improvements, and actionable sales plans.
  • Maintain awareness of regulatory and conduct developments affecting broker distribution.

6. Performance Management and Senior Communication

  • Report pipeline, forecast, production, profitability, retention, key risks, and required decisions to senior management.
  • Use data to identify underperformance, recommend actions, and track outcomes.
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders and maintain disciplined follow-through on commitments.

7. Governance, Compliance, and Conduct

  • Ensure broker acquisition, remuneration, campaigns, documentation, and account management comply with internal policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate required reviews and approvals with Legal, Compliance, Underwriting, Finance, and other control functions.
  • Promote fair customer outcomes, appropriate information handling, and consistent brand standards.

8. Perform other duties consistent with the seniority and purpose of the role as assigned.
