Role Overview
We are looking for an Android Developer (SDE-2) to build and maintain high-quality mobile applications and SDK components. You will own feature development end-to-end, contribute to scalable architecture, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready mobile experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Android applications and reusable SDK modules
- Own feature delivery from requirements to production release
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code
- Collaborate with product, backend, QA, and design teams
- Ensure performance, reliability, and security of applications
- Contribute to CI/CD, testing, and release processes
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Publish and manage SDK artifacts (AAR) and versioning
- Required Qualifications
- 3–4 years of experience in Android development
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin (Java interoperability is a plus)
- Solid understanding of Android lifecycle and architecture
- Experience with Coroutines & Flow
- Hands-on with Jetpack components (ViewModel, Navigation, Room, etc.)
- Familiarity with dependency injection (Hilt/Dagger/Koin)
- Knowledge of Git, branching strategies, and CI/CD
- Experience with unit/UI testing
- Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mindset
Good to Have
- Experience with Jetpack Compose
- Knowledge of multi-module projects and Gradle setup
- Experience with WebView integrations
- Exposure to Play Store releases and app signing
- Familiarity with performance optimization and crash monitoring
- Experience with camera, image processing, or on-device ML
- Familiarity with iOS development is a bonus
- Experience in SDK development (AAR publishing)
- Exposure to fintech, identity verification, or security-focused apps
- Familiarity with cross-platform frameworks integration (Flutter/KMP)
