**About our company:**

ALVI Technologies Pty Ltd is seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join its operations in Seven Hills, NSW. The business requires a skilled engineering professional to support mechanical design, technical operations, equipment performance, production efficiency, and ongoing process improvements across its mechanical and operational functions.

Salary Range: $80,000 to $100,000 plus superannuation (depending upon experience \& skills)

Role: Full time

Location: Seven Hills NSW 2147

**Main responsibilities**

· Review, assess, and improve mechanical systems, machinery, tools, and equipment used within the business operations.

· Support the design, development, testing, installation, operation, and maintenance of mechanical equipment and systems.

· Analyse mechanical processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability, safety, and productivity.

· Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, calculations, manuals, and engineering documentation.

· Provide engineering support for CNC machinery, mechanical operations, equipment troubleshooting, and process optimisation.

· Coordinate with internal teams, technicians, suppliers, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of engineering and operational requirements.

· Monitor machinery performance and assist with preventative maintenance planning to reduce downtime and improve operational output.

· Ensure mechanical engineering activities comply with relevant workplace health and safety requirements, quality standards, and business procedures.

· Assist in evaluating equipment, materials, components, and mechanical solutions to support business needs.

· Maintain accurate records of engineering activities, technical assessments, equipment performance, and operational improvements.

**Qualifications \& Skills**

· Master’s degree or higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.

· Relevant experience of at least 3 years in mechanical engineering, mechanical operations, manufacturing, CNC machinery, or industrial equipment environments.

· Strong understanding of mechanical systems, production processes, machinery performance, and technical documentation.

· Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and mechanical design requirements.

· Strong problem\-solving skills with the ability to identify faults, improve processes, and support operational efficiency.

· Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with management, technicians, suppliers, and operational staff.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to manage engineering tasks in a safe, accurate, and timely manner.
