We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer – SAP ABAP with strong hands-on expertise in SAP ABAP, S/4HANA, SAP BTP, RAP, CDS, AMDP and Fiori/SAPUI5 development.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in end-to-end SAP implementation projects, application architecture, development, integration and performance optimization. Candidates with proven implementation experience and the ability to work with cross-functional teams will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Design, develop, test and maintain scalable SAP applications across the complete SDLC.
- Develop robust solutions using ABAP Objects, modern ABAP syntax and S/4HANA technologies.
- Design and develop CDS Views, AMDP and HANA SQL solutions with a focus on performance.
- Develop SAP Fiori/UI5 applications, OData services and Fiori Elements.
- Design and develop applications using SAP BTP and ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
- Develop and maintain APIs, microservices and SAP integration solutions.
- Work with BAPI, BADI, IDOC, RFC, User Exits, Web Services and APIs.
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Prepare high-level technical designs, solution architecture and development specifications.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, functional consultants and other engineering teams.
- Perform code reviews, debugging, performance tuning and production support.
- Follow best practices for secure coding, authorization checks, data protection and application security.
- Implement quality practices including unit testing, integration testing, CI/CD and agile development methodologies.
- Use Git/GitHub for source-code management and collaborative development.
- Evaluate emerging SAP technologies and recommend improvements to existing solutions.
Required Technical Skills:-
- 10–20 years of overall software development experience, with strong SAP ABAP expertise.
- Expert-level knowledge of SAP ABAP and ABAP Objects.
- Strong hands-on experience with ABAP on SAP S/4HANA.
- Expertise in CDS Views, AMDP and HANA SQL Programming.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, OData and Fiori Elements.
- Strong experience in SAP BTP development.
- Hands-on experience with ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
- Strong knowledge of SAP integration technologies including BAPI, BADI, IDOC, RFC, APIs and Web Services.
- Experience in API development and microservices.
- Knowledge of SAP security concepts and authorization checks within ABAP applications.
- Experience with Git/GitHub or equivalent source-code management tools.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies, testing and CI/CD practices.
Pay: ₹3,000,000.00 - ₹3,200,000.00 per year
