My client is a dynamic electronics retailer specialiSing in phones, laptops, audio equipment, gaming devices, accessories and smart tech. The Role
The Website Manager will be responsible for maintaining server and domain records, analysing traffic data and incorporating content changes. The ideal candidate should be tech-savvy, have excellent attention to detail and be able to work independently. The Website Manager will be expected to keep the online store updated, collaborate with our marketing and design teams, manage our content and ensure our website provides a high-quality user experience.
Minimum Requirements
- Completed qualification in web design, or related (non-negotiable)
- Proven work experience as a Website Manager, 2 years essential
- Working knowledge of modern website technologies
- Demonstrated knowledge of web analytics and SEO
- Experience with web design and layout
- Proven troubleshooting and creative problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Key Responsibilities
- Manage website structure, content, navigation, performance and capacity
- Plan and implement digital marketing campaigns
- Monitor, analyse and improve site performance (e.g. traffic, conversions)
- Ensure website is updated and free of mistakes
- Troubleshoot and fix any bugs or issues on the website
- Continuously improve website capabilities
- Manage SEO - manage pay-per-click and search engine optimization campaigns
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations
- Align the website with the organisation's brand, strategy and standards
- Assist with social media campaigns and other marketing efforts
- Complete tests to ensure website efficiency and quality
- Follow industry best practices
- Identify ways to improve website user experience
- Implement security measures to protect websites
- Keep the website's domain and hosting registration current
- Monitor for website security breaches and respond to them as needed
- Produce sitemaps that represent and visualise the website's structure and functions
- Ad hoc duties as requested by management
