They are looking for an exceptional, commercially driven Remote Lettings Growth & Operations Manager, based in South Africa, to help take their lettings business to the next level.
WE WANT A PROVEN PERFORMER, NOT JUST AN ADMINISTRATOR!
Someone who understands the UK residential lettings market, can generate new business, win landlord instructions, manage day-to-day operations and deliver measurable results.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
NEW BUSINESS & REVENUE GROWTH
- Proactively identify and contact prospective landlords across the target market.
- Generate qualified landlord leads and valuation appointments every working day.
- Build relationships with self-managing landlords and landlords considering changing agents.
- Convert enquiries and valuation follow-ups into new management instructions.
- Develop and manage a strong pipeline of new business opportunities.
- Increase recurring management income through profitable new business.
- Track conversion rates, instructions won and revenue generated.
LETTINGS OPERATIONS
- Oversee the daily remote administration and coordination of the UK lettings department.
- Manage landlord and tenant communications.
- Coordinate viewings, property inspections, maintenance and contractor appointments with the UK-based field team.
- Oversee tenancy progression, referencing, documentation and move-ins.
- Monitor arrears, outstanding tasks and compliance deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records and workflows using Alto CRM.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and efficient operational delivery.
LEADERSHIP & ACCOUNTABILITY
- Take ownership of agreed departmental KPIs.
- Provide daily activity and performance updates.
- Produce weekly reports covering valuations, new instructions, revenue and operational performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, customer retention and profitability.
- Work closely with UK commercial leadership and the UK-based field support team.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Essential:
- Proven experience working within UK residential lettings or property management.
- Demonstrable success generating landlord leads and winning new business.
- Strong knowledge of UK residential lettings processes and legislation.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Confident telephone sales, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Experience managing operational workflows and multiple priorities.
- Strong commercial awareness and accountability.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Competent using CRM systems and Microsoft 365.
Highly desirable:
- Experience with Alto CRM.
- Previous responsibility for growing a UK lettings portfolio.
- Experience supervising remote property administration teams.
- Knowledge of the English private rented sector and current lettings compliance requirements.
