About Xledger
Xledger is a cloud ERP system that gives customers better control of their businesses. We are expanding our team in Colorado Springs, and are looking looking for strong engineers to build and improve the infrastructure, tooling, and automations our developers rely on.
This is a hands-on role with broad ownership. You’ll work closely with software engineers to make development environments easier to use, builds and deployments more reliable, and problems easier to diagnose. We value generalists who can write code, understand systems quickly, and use AI tools effectively.
This position is fully on-site in Colorado Springs. Local candidates are preferred.
Our environment: GitHub, .NET, SQL Server, Postgres, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, with reliable testing, deployments, database migrations, and rollbacks.
- Improve developer environments and automate setup and routine tasks.
- Manage and improve our R&D infrastructure, including containers and Kubernetes.
- Build monitoring, logging, and alerting that help us identify and resolve problems.
- Improve access management, secrets handling, and infrastructure security.
- Help reduce Windows dependencies across infrastructure and developer workflows.
- Write software and scripts to solve operational problems and remove manual work.
- Use AI coding tools to accelerate your work while taking responsibility for correctness and maintainability.
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of programming experience
- 5+ years of devops experience
- 1+ years of experience using a relational database like SQL Server or Postgres
- 1+ years of working with web applications
- 6+ months of working with Claude Code or similar
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with GitHub Actions and Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Experience with infrastructure as code and reproducible environments.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance troubleshooting.
- Experience with database migrations, deployment strategies, and rollback planning.
- Familiarity with both Linux and Windows development environments.
- Experience improving developer tooling and workflows.
Benefits:
- Base salary: $130-$170 K
