Job Summary
The Restaurant Servers (Waiters and Waitress) reports to the Food and Beverage Manager. S/He is accountable for playing their part in ensuring the dining experience of our Guests is consistently excellent. This person is a team player, carefully trained, multi-skilled, flexible, courteous and friendly.
The ideal candidate must:
- Have a minimum of two (2) SSC, CXC/GCE subjects including English
- Have a minimum of one (1) year experience in this field
- Have a valid Food Handler’s Permit
- Have working knowledge of serving in a hotel restaurant
- Have working knowledge of the department’s deportment, presentation, sequence and service standards
- Have excellent customer service skills
- Have the ability to withstand the physical demands of the job
- Have the ability to work flexible shifts
- Have the ability to work well with peers and leaders at all levels
