SOFTWARE ENGINEER – FULL STACK (NODE.JS & REACT.JS)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Node.js and React.js.
- Build responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces using React.js, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Develop robust back-end services, RESTful APIs, and business logic using Node.js and Express.js.
- Design, manage, and optimize databases using MongoDB and/or SQL databases.
- Integrate third-party APIs, services, and external systems.
- Write clean, reusable, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across the front-end and back-end.
- Optimize application performance, responsiveness, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, project managers, QA engineers, and other developers.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and ongoing application maintenance.
- Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and contribute to sprint planning and project discussions.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and hands-on experience with Node.js and React.js.
- Experience in developing full-stack web applications using the MERN stack or similar technologies.
- Good understanding of front-end development, back-end programming, and API integration.
- Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of database design, data modeling, and query optimization.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a development team.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Front-End Development
- Proficiency in React.js, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Experience with React Hooks, component-based architecture, and state management.
- Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
Back-End Development
- Strong knowledge of Node.js and Express.js.
- Experience in developing RESTful APIs and handling authentication and authorization.
- Understanding of asynchronous programming, middleware, and server-side application architecture.
Database
- Experience with MongoDB and/or SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of database schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
Tools, Testing & Deployment
- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
- Understanding of unit testing, integration testing, and debugging tools.
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with Docker and application deployment practices is an advantage.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
