Job function summary
The Senior Developer partners with key business areas to design, develop, and deliver data solutions that support business objectives. Guided by agreed roadmaps, the role translates business needs into clearly defined requirements, project scope, and delivery plans, and works closely with stakeholders throughout implementation.
The Senior Developer works within a dedicated development track, collaborating with a Track Lead and nearshore consultants.
Main Responsibilities
Core duties include:

Taking responsibility for delivering data projects and continuous improvements (CIs).

Providing technical guidance and support to ongoing projects.

Advising and supporting business stakeholders on data-related needs.

Defining logical and physical data models and structures that reflect business requirements.

Designing, developing and implementing data solutions that address business needs.

Maintaining close collaboration and clear communication with business stakeholders.
Key Requirements

Experience in a large enterprise data environment.

In-depth knowledge of data warehousing technologies and concepts.

In-depth knowledge of data modeling.

A consultative, business-oriented approach to solution development.

Knowledge of Databricks, lakehouse architectures, and Azure data services, including Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Analysis Services.

A sound understanding of Quality and Manufacturing business processes, their data, and supporting applications.

Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to problem-solving.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

Effective stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have

Experience in dimensional and relational data modeling.

Experience designing and developing extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes.

Proficiency in Python programming.

Proficiency in SQL.

Proficiency in Data Analysis Expressions (DAX).

Knowledge of data warehouse, lakehouse, and data solution design principles.
